Transform-R Cluster Mobility & Logistics

H2.R Wasserstoffrunde Regensburg: International Edition

03.04.2025

Online, 11:00 – 12:00 Uhr

The Cluster Mobility & Logistics and the Green Tech Cluster cordially invite you to the next edition of the Regensburg Hydrogen Round Table H2.R! Since we cannot manage the transformation alone, the focus on April 3, 2025 will be on international hydrogen projects, with interesting insights from Scotland and the Netherlands.

Regensburg’s twin city Aberdeen has been positioning itself as a pioneer for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies for over a decade. Part of the strategy includes hydrogen buses - including double-deckers - various vehicles in municipal fleets and car-sharing services, as well as two public hydrogen refuelling stations. Claire Stevenson (Aberdeen City Council) and Amy Perry (Energy Transition Zone) will present best practices, current developments and further initiatives for hydrogen use in the region.

In the second presentation, Freek de Bruijn, program manager for hydrogen at RAI Automotive Industry NL, will provide insights into the Dutch project “Green Transport Delta - Hydrogen”. The project aims to further develop three key hydrogen technologies for sustainable mobility: Hydrogen combustion engines, fuel cells and a next-generation hydrogen refueling infrastructure technology. These three main developments are related to cross-sectoral mobility applications for the automotive, marine, and non-road mobile machinery sectors.

We look forward to your participation and discussion!
