How to shift towards more sustainable urban mobility? RECIPROCITY mobility stakeholders from all over Europe met in Brussels to discuss about this question.
There are various good practices, cities and municipalities can learn from.
For example, the city of Zaragoza showed how to reach sustainable, pollution free mobility. One part of the solution is a new tram unit that operates since 2013. By this, road traffic could be reduced by 15% in Zaragoza. With building two new units it is expected to increase this number. Another part of the solution is also to electrify public transport. Changing to only electric or fuel cell hydrogen buses will save them 21,000 tn of CO2. To learn more about their measures you can reach out to us.

Other highlights of the Mobility Assembly: Participants could visit the POLIS Annual Conference with 32 parallel sessions, 8 deep-dive panels, and 2 plenaries. They could learn about the transport achievements of cities and regions, eg. in the field of hydrogen mobility and on demand mobility, and interact with a wide audience of mobility experts, practitioners and decision-makers!

About RECIPROCITY Mobility Assemblies
The RECIPROCITY project organises a set of Mobility Assemblies co-located with large-scale mobility events as the POLIS Conference or Smart City Expo World Congress.
Mobility Assemblies include presentations of actors, initiatives, projects, one-to-one meetings, and working group meetings. The aim is to bring together actors to foster cooperation in different areas related to sustainable urban mobility.
Mobility Assembies are open to any interested mobility stakeholder: cities, industry, mobility providers, policy makers, financial Intermediaries.
