On July 4th and 5th, 2023, the Design Thinking workshop took place in Matosinhos, Porto as part of the Remobilise project.
Consortium partner Mobinov welcomed consortium partners from NextMove, Cluster Mobility & Logistics, RAI Automotive NL, and Zone Cluster for this two days of workshop, where MindShake conducted this Immersive Design Thinking!
The main objectives of this workshop were:
- Familiarization with the DT method applied in a service/business innovation process;
- Practice the process of collaborative and intercultural creation, applying DT tool;
- Change focus from process-oriented models to people-oriented models;
- Improvement of understanding of the stages of a systematic creative process;
- Creation of 2 innovative concepts for new services.
On the first day, partners had the Introduction to the concept of Design Thinking (DT) regarding the evolution of the concept, the principles and also the the principles of DT applied at some examples.
Next, we learned about visual models that explain the process of DT. At the end of the day, we started doing the opportunity mind map (exploration of a thematic topic), then we tried to clarify the priorities through problem breakdown and last we had to turn challenges into open questions.
On the second day, partners used brainwriting to reach the final ideas – Idea Cluster. Last, but not least we prototyped, tested and delivered the new service.
