On March 4, the Mobility & Logistics cluster hosted a virtual Logistics Monday as part of the Logistics Talk organized by Logistik Intitative Bayern.
This time, our series of events revolved around the topic of "Automated scheduling and freight measurement".
After a short welcome by Uwe Pfeil, Cluster Manager Cluster Mobility & Logistics, and Johannes Kraus, Network Manager of Logistik Initiative Bayern, CNA e.V., Saskia Reuter, CEO and one of the founders of aluco GmbH, started with her presentation. aluco GmbH was founded in 2022 and has since specialized in the optimization of logistics processes through various software solutions.
The presentation focused on the automated scheduling and freight measurement software modules. Not only the functionalities of these modules were highlighted, but also the crucial interaction between them and the added value that this combination offers. Another focus was on the topic of data quality and the use of learning algorithms in scheduling.
The 20 participants learned how these technologies can not only optimize individual processes, but also generate sustainable added value for the entire supply chain. After the presentation, the participants used the time to clarify their questions.
