Numerous players are involved in ensuring that goods are delivered to the right place at the right time in Germany. The demands on transport logistics, in particular its planning, management and process implementation, are increasing due to the megatrends in our society. Increasing digitalisation in particular is having an impact on traditional value creation systems with their processes and roles. As a result, it is recognised as having great potential to improve the flexibility, agility, effectiveness and efficiency of these value creation systems.
