On Thursday, 2 March 2023, VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH hosted a presentation round of the projects funded as part of the "go-cluster" program.
The "goAir" project was presented. This is a cross-cluster approach for the cross-industry promotion of AI-driven innovations in the Regensburg region, which is why four projects presented themselves in a joint meeting. The four clusters are pooling their areas of expertise and radii of action in close coordination in order to increase their effectiveness as a cluster. Together, they are developing a future-oriented and regional concept with measures to strengthen the AI value chain in and for the Regensburg region. goAIR discovers new tools, also to open up new business areas for the four participating clusters. Depending on their expertise and main areas of activity, the participants work on a concept for cross-cluster problem solving and cooperation with a focus on AI.
The following four clusters were involved:
- Cluster Mobility & Logistics: "goAIR"
- Strategic Partnership Sensor Technology: "Development, testing and consolidation of a 'Data-driven Business' service point in the Sensor Technology Cluster (goAIR Data-dB)"
- IT Security Cluster e. V.: "goAIR - Artificial Intelligence Regensburg (goAIR-ITSEC)"
- BioPark Regensburg GmbH: "goAIR - Artificial Intelligence Regensburg"
