das Stadtwerk.Regensburg and REWAG become premium partners of the Cluster Mobility & Logistics. The two companies are thus further expanding their collaboration with the cluster and also intensifying the proven collaboration within the entire cluster network.

A particular focus of the partnership is the exchange on the electrification and automation of public transport as well as other topics in the smart city sector. Application projects in Regensburg include the EMIL e-bus and the EMILIA autonomous people mover. Innovations in the mobility and energy sector are seen as an important part of both the cluster's work and the cooperation with the municipal utility and REWAG. Among other things, this takes place as part of the cluster's innovation networks such as "HY2.ZERO - Mobility needs hydrogen", in which both companies are involved.

The premium partners are also involved in the cluster's international projects. For example, the EU project RECIPROCITY, in which R-Tech GmbH is the lead partner, focuses on international cooperation and know-how transfer in the field of smart cities. "Together with selected regions such as Zaragoza, Pilsen, Linz, Helsinki, Paris, Brussels and Istanbul, we are developing innovative mobility solutions to tackle the challenges of urbanization, climate change and digitalization," says Cluster Manager Uwe Pfeil.

At a strategic level, the collaboration with Stadtwerk and REWAG is reflected in their appointment to the cluster's advisory board. Both companies each provide a representative for the supervisory body.
