Joint cluster stand at the IAA MOBILITY 2023

09/13/2023

The Cluster Mobility & Logistics was represented by 9 co-exhibitors!

The Cluster Mobility & Logistics was represented at the IAA MOBILITY from September 5 to 8, 2023 with a 120 m2 joint stand in the Summit (Hall B1, Stand E22) at the Messe München exhibition grounds. The press day with national and international media representatives took place on September 4, 2023.
At the IAA Summit, the international forum for trade visitors from all areas of the mobility industry, the mobility of tomorrow was presented and discussed. Forward-looking innovations and developments from leading international companies met with numerous experts from a wide range of mobility sectors.

Among other things, the Autonomous People Mover Regensburg - an electrically powered autonomous shuttle bus called Emilia - and the racing car of the Formula Student Team of OTH Regensburg (Dynamics e.V.) were represented at the stand. Guests at the stand were able to find out about the co-exhibitors' research and development projects and products in the field of sustainable and connected mobility. The projects in connection with the autonomous shuttle Emilia from Autonomous Reply, AVL, Stadtwerk Regensburg, Valeo and the University of Regensburg were also presented.

On September 6, 2023, the co-exhibitors and the Cluster Mobility & Logistics invited guests to the stand to network and exchange experiences at the Bavarian Breakfast. Around 150 guests accepted the invitation, visited the stand and exchanged ideas over Bavarian veal sausage and pretzels.
Together with the REMOBILISE project partners, the Mobility & Logistics cluster organized a ClusterXchange from 5 to 7 September. This offered the opportunity to get in touch with international experts and find out about the clusters' ecosystems and various mobility solutions.
During the course of the trade fair, the Bavarian Minister of Transport Christian Bernreiter, State Secretary Roland Weigert and Regensburg's Lord Mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer, among others, were impressed by the innovative mobility concepts from Regensburg.

The cluster is again planning a joint stand for the next IAA MOBILITY, which will take place in Munich in September 2025.
