Autonomous and climate-friendly. This is the future of driving, which is set to become reality in the Upper Palatinate town of Roding, in Neubäu am See. The AVL "AutBus" started its trial run there on July 13, 2023. In future, it will take its passengers from A to B automatically. The automated minibus was developed in close collaboration with the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden and funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. Numerous guests of honor from politics, industry and research were present at the opening. Uwe Pfeil, Cluster Manager of the Cluster Mobility & Logistics, was also invited.
