Mit seinem verbesserten EIKONA Time Slot Management, das zudem wesentliche Funktionen aus dem Yard Management enthält, zeigt EIKONA Logistics auf der LogiMAT, wie Speditionen mithilfe eines bedienerfreundlichen Zeitfenstermanagements noch schneller und effizienter arbeiten können.
Eine effiziente Verladeplanung ist für Speditionen besonders wichtig. Nur so können sie An- und Abmeldeprozesse beschleunigen, Wartezeiten minimieren und ihre Ressourcen bestmöglich steuern. Hierfür bietet EIKONA Logistics mit seinem optimierten EIKONA Time Slot Management eine performante und benutzerfreundliche Lösung, die nun noch schneller arbeitet. Die Verbesserungen, die in die aktuelle Version einflossen, kamen direkt aus der Praxis. So ermöglicht das Tool beispielsweise die Planung von Zeitfenstern unter Berücksichtigung der Entladezeitfenster im Direktverkehr. Dazu berechnet die Anwendung die Fahrzeit sowie die Strecke und ermittelt, wann eine Sendung abgefertigt sein muss, damit das festgelegte Entladezeitfenster am Zielort eingehalten werden kann. Auch die grafische Darstellung wurde optimiert und bietet für jeden Benutzer frei konfigurier- und speicherbare Ansichten. Dies ermöglicht einen schnellen Zugriff auf die wesentlichen Informationen für alle Prozessbeteiligten. Neu in der Kalenderansicht sind zudem die Spuren “Ungebucht” und “Ungeplant”: Für ungebuchte Aufträge wurde noch kein Zeitfenster bestätigt, ungeplante Touren treffen im Laufe des Tages ohne ein gebuchtes Zeitfenster ein. Dank eindeutig zugeordneter Farbindikationen bleiben diese ebenfalls stets im Blick und lassen sich zwischen geplanten Verladevorgängen einschieben.
Schnelle und eindeutige Kommunikation
Das EIKONA Time Slot Management deckt sämtliche Aspekte der Kommunikation mit Spedition und Subunternehmer ab. Die Aufforderung zur Buchung von Time Slots ist nach granularen Regeln konfigurierbar und erfolgt über ein angebundenes Online-Portal oder einen Direktlink per E-Mail. Mit dem Yard Management lässt sich jedes Fahrzeug nach dem Eintreffen und Authentifizieren am Verladeort über die Zuweisung von Standplätzen – deren Belegung ebenfalls im System ablesbar ist – bis hin zur Abfertigung an der dafür bestimmten Rampe und schließlich der Abfahrt steuern. Die jeweils benötigen Informationen erhält der Fahrer dabei per SMS aus dem System. Jeder Schritt wird mit Time Stamps protokolliert, sodass eventuelle Abweichungen von der geplanten Ankunfts- oder Abfahrtszeit eindeutig nachvollziehbar sind. Um darüber hinaus zu jeder Zeit die aktuelle Position der Lkw zu kennen, lässt sich das Zeitfenstermanagementsystem mit gängigen Fahrer-Apps verknüpfen. So kann schnell auf Abweichungen reagiert und lange Wartezeiten vermieden werden.

With its improved EIKONA Time Slot Management, which also includes essential functions from Yard Management, EIKONA Logistics will demonstrate at LogiMAT how freight forwarders can work even faster and more efficiently with the help of user-friendly time slot management.
Efficient loading planning is particularly important for forwarding companies. Only in this way they can accelerate check-in and check-out processes, minimise waiting times and control their resources in the best possible way. For this purpose, EIKONA Logistics offers with its optimised EIKONA Time Slot Management a performant and user-friendly solution, which now works even faster. The improvements that went into the current version came directly from practical experience. For example, the tool enables the planning of time slots taking into account the unloading time slots in direct traffic. For this purpose, the application calculates the journey time as well as the route and determines when a consignment must be dispatched so that the specified unloading time window at the destination can be adhered to. The graphic display has also been optimised and offers freely configurable and storable views for each user. This enables quick access to the essential information for all those involved in the process. Also new in the calendar view are the tracks "Unbooked" and "Unscheduled": For unbooked orders, no time slot has been confirmed yet, unscheduled tours arrive during the day without a booked time slot. Thanks to clearly assigned colour indications, these also always remain in view and can be inserted between planned loading processes.
Fast and clear communication
EIKONA Time Slot Management covers all aspects of communication with freight forwarders and subcontractors. The request for booking time slots is configurable according to granular rules and takes place via a connected online portal or a direct link via email. With Yard Management, each vehicle can be controlled after arrival and authentication at the loading location, through the allocation of parking spaces - the occupancy of which can also be read in the system - to dispatch at the designated ramp and finally departure. The driver receives the required information from the system via text message. Each step is logged with time stamps so that any deviations from the planned arrival or departure time can be clearly traced. In order to know the current position of the trucks at all times, the time slot management system can be linked to common driver apps. In this way, it is possible to react quickly to deviations and avoid long waiting times.
