The European Cluster Conference 2024 took place on 7 and 8 May in Brussels and aimed to highlight the crucial role of clusters in advancing the EU's industrial priorities. It engaged stakeholders in discussions on ongoing Commission initiatives, gathered feedback on the 2024 priorities and addressed key topics - the Green and Digital Transformation and building resilience. The conference also provided a deep dive into key drivers such as skills, funding and technology. It raised awareness of the role of clusters, the European Cluster Cooperation Platform ECCP and stimulated debates on possible actions of clusters to shape the future of the EU Single Market.
The cluster managers of 2019, 2020 and 2022, Bianca Muntean from the Transilvania IT Cluster, Uwe Pfeil from the Mobility & Logistics Cluster and Kristina Sermuksnyte-Alesiuniene from AgriFood Lithuania, met at the Cluster Conference 2024 in Brussels.
