The 2nd part of the webinar series “Transforming Transport” dealt with the study “Battery-electric trucks on the rise”.
In his presentation, our speaker, Dr Christian Foltz, Partner, Strategy& Germany, PwC's global strategy consultancy, discussed the results of the Truck Study 2024 by Strategy& by PwC, which analyses the key developments and challenges in the global truck market, which is caught between digitalization, sustainability and new market requirements. The study provides an in-depth overview of the key drivers of change, including increasing electrification and the integration of innovative technologies to increase efficiency and environmental compatibility.
A particular focus was placed on the effects on manufacturers, suppliers and operators, who must adapt their strategies in order to remain competitive. The Truck Study shows practical approaches and strategic recommendations on how companies can successfully manage this change. It provides valuable insights for decision-makers and industry experts to actively shape the transformation of the truck sector.
Following the presentation, the approximately 30 participants were able to ask questions.
