On February 27, 2025, Fördermittel kompakt provided exciting first-hand insights into the Digitalbonus.Bayern. Raffaele Antonucci from the Upper Palatinate government, who manages the funding with his Digitalbonus team and is responsible for evaluating applications and further developing the application process, was also present. He gave a comprehensive overview of the funding conditions and shared his eight years of Digitalbonus experience.
Michael Bock and Jens Lagemann from AIR member Technologisches Institut für angewandte Künstliche Intelligenz (TIKI) provided a practical insight into the reality of funding at the company: they have automated a process in order processing for a customer as an AI service provider. This process optimization saves employees there time-consuming and error-prone manual work. The TIKI customer received the digital bonus for this digitalization measure.
About the subsidy
The current digital bonus guideline is valid until 31.12.2027. Small companies with fewer than 50 employees are eligible for funding for digitalization measures (software and robotics hardware) and IT security (software and hardware). Project-related consulting and training can also be funded. Applications can be submitted on the first working day of the month from 10 a.m. - due to the limited monthly application quota, it is advisable to open the application portal on time. However, applications can also be saved temporarily and submitted in the following month. It is also important to note that the eligible measure may only be started after the application has been submitted.
