The third part of the webinar series "Funding compact" took place on April 18 on the topic of funding applications. The Mobility & Logistics Cluster was able to attract Dr. Jürgen Dam from the VDI/VDE Innovation + Technology project management agency and Uwe Pfeil, Cluster Manager of the Mobility & Logistics Cluster, as speakers.
Mr. Pfeil provided an overview of the dos and don'ts of developing ideas for R&D projects, the search for suitable consortium partners and detailed tips for writing applications. Dr. Dam then gave a comprehensive insight into project applications from the perspective of a project sponsor against the backdrop of the Bavarian Collaborative Research Programme (BayFP) in the digitization funding line. His practical recommendations are based on his many years of experience in the evaluation of project applications, e.g. currently the last call "Artificial Intelligence - Data Science". Dr. Dam's advice gave the webinar additional practical relevance, which was extremely valuable for the participants.

The webinar series "Fördermittel kompakt" is part of the Digital Innovation Ostbayern (DInO) project, which is one of three European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) in Bavaria. The project focuses on the digital transformation of SMEs and public administrations. As part of DInO, the Mobility & Logistics cluster provides support for the "Innovation Ecosystem & Networking" and "Support to Find Financing and Investment" services.
The webinar series is also part of the German government's transformation networks. The Regensburg-based project transform.r supports companies in coping with structural change in the automotive industry.
